Mass production is the name given to the method of producing goods in large quantities at a low cost. Mass-produced goods are standardised and are the same and can be produced within a quick time.
There are many reasons why mass production is an advantage to employers.
Employers become skilled at one particular task and work faster
It saves money by avoiding detailed training.
It saves time as employers do not have to move between tasks.
The more products produced then the more sales and higher profits for the business.
Only tools and machinery needed for the process have to be bought and maintained and they are well looked after by employees who know how to use them.
