It supports their Culture/Religion/Class
A young person may support/vote for the political party that is seen to be associated with and support their culture/religion/class
It stands by a particular cause
A young person may support/vote for a political party because that party may support a particular cause
So there is active participation
If the young person supports/votes for a political party, they are supporting democratic processes and helping to influence change
Influenced by the media
A young person may support/vote for a political party that they hear a lot about in the news/on social media/read a lot about in the papers
